Browsing and preferences

We use Cloudflare to deliver and protect the site. This involves technical data such as IP addresses and browser information. The site does not include advertising trackers or a separate audience analytics script. Your manual language choice is saved on your device; browser-based automatic detection is not saved as a manual choice.

We deliver and protect the guide, and handle correspondence, on the basis of our legitimate interests in keeping the site secure, correcting information and answering requests. We use only the information needed for those purposes. We do not use it for advertising, profiling or automated decisions about people.

Worker request logs and traces are disabled; we do not keep a separate visitor log. Cloudflare may retain technical and security records for service operation, abuse prevention and legal obligations under its privacy policy. Its retention depends on those purposes and legal requirements, rather than our support-mail deadline.

The language preference contains only the language code. It remains on your device until you change it or clear website storage, and is not used to follow your activity.

Email feedback

Writing to us is optional. Without a message we cannot answer your enquiry, but you can still browse the guide. Please send only what is needed; do not include identity documents or sensitive personal information.

The contact and error-report pages prepare an email on your device. Reviewing or copying it does not submit a website form. Only the selected public page, your message, website language and a random message reference are included; browser/system families and narrow/wide layout are added only if you choose them. Drafts are kept in the open page, not in website storage.

When you send the email in your mail application, your provider, Cloudflare Email Routing and our receiving Gmail mailbox handle the message, sender address, headers and any attachments you add. We use this correspondence to review your enquiry and reply.

We delete ordinary support correspondence 30 days after the enquiry is closed. If correspondence is needed to resolve a dispute, we record the reason for keeping it longer and delete it when the dispute is resolved. This period does not promise immediate erasure from providers’ backup systems.

News and editorial material

We select news for this guide separately from Telegram. An article may include a complete editorial text, translations, an image and a source link. Necessary professional details, such as an organiser’s name or an image credit, are assessed before publication. We use consent where required or another applicable lawful basis; public availability alone is not permission to publish everything.

News images are served from our hosting. Reading an article does not automatically connect your browser to Telegram or the source website; those are ordinary links. We use OpenAI for editorial translation and review of material admitted to this workflow, not to process visitors’ browsing data or support correspondence through the news pipeline. Provider processing is governed by its published terms and privacy information. This editorial processing may take place outside Serbia.

We keep news while it serves the guide’s editorial and historical purpose, subject to corrections, rights requests and removal. Removing an article stops the site from serving its text and image; copies already downloaded, search-engine copies and provider backups may remain. Contact us if a publication affects your rights.

Your choices and rights

You can clear the stored language preference through your browser settings. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or to object where applicable. You may complain to Serbia’s Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.

We normally answer privacy requests within 30 days. Where the law allows an extension for a complex request, we explain the reason and revised deadline within that period. We ask for additional identity information only when reasonably necessary.

Optional Google map

The directory offers an optional Google My Maps frame. It is not loaded until you click “Load Google map”. Once loaded, Google receives connection and browser information, including your IP address, and may use cookies or associate activity with your Google account depending on your settings. The site does not request your device location. Opening the external Google Maps link also connects to Google. You can use the directory without either action.

Use “Unload Google map” to remove the embedded map, or return to the list or table. Loading it again requires another click. This does not delete cookies already stored by Google.

Loading the map is your optional consent to this connection; you can withdraw it using the unload control. Withdrawal stops the embedded connection on this page and does not affect earlier lawful processing or Google’s own retention rules.

Providers and international processing

Cloudflare, Inc. provides hosting, security and email forwarding; Google provides the receiving Gmail mailbox and the optional map. These services use international infrastructure, including the United States. Their privacy notices, Cloudflare’s processing addendum and transfer safeguards are linked below. We do not promise that all processing stays in Serbia.

For international transfers, we rely on the adequate-protection route in Article 64 of Serbia’s data protection law where applicable, including the sector covered by the EU adequacy decision for participating US Data Privacy Framework organisations. Cloudflare and Google are listed as active participants. Their published safeguards govern onward processing; contact us for information or copies relevant to your request.
